Project Statistics

- Number of students, The total number of students loaded in the current project.

- Number of students marked, The total number of students for which some marking has been completed.

- Number of zero marks, The total number of students which currently have zero marks awarded. This includes both students who have and have not been marked.

- Number of full marks, The total number of students which currently have been awarded all possible marks.

- Highest mark, The highest mark awarded from among all students in the currently loaded project.

- Lowest mark, The lowest mark awarded from among all students in the currently loaded project.

- Average mark, The mean average mark awarded for all students, including those students currently holding a mark of zero.

- Average mark (no zero's), The mean average mark awarded for all students, excluding those students currently holding a mark of zero.

- Variance (no zero's), The variance is a measure of how much the marks distribution is spread out. Essentially, the smaller the variance the more seemingly similar the marks are for each student in the current project. It is computed as the average squared deviation of each number from its mean.

- Standard Deviation (no zero's), This represents the first deviation away from the mean average marks for all non-zero students in the current project.

Item Statistics

- Item, Identifies which item the statistics are presented for.

- Not Attempted, Identifies how many students did not attempt to answer the item in question.

- Avg, The mean average mark awarded among all students for the item in question.

- Avg (no zero's), The mean average mark from among those whom marking has commenced.
